II have taught in the UK, France, Germany & now Spain for over 30 years at 6 universities, at Brockenhurst College & The Sixth Form College Farnborough in the UK & at Hastings School in Madrid.
I am British with a German mother & English father & I grew up in England. I am a qualified teacher (BA, MA, DIP DELTA, PG DIP) of English, French & German & as Senior Manager & Director of Sixth Form (16-18 yr olds) at Hastings School, I have +25 years of experience in careers & university coaching, study skills & exam preparation. I have also been a teacher trainer working with Spanish secondary teachers of English in Madrid.
I teach English, French & German from primary to IGCSE, A Level & IB & I prepare students for the SAT, ACT & GRE. I also teach the full range of EFL exams: Cambridge (FCE, CAE, CPE), IELTS Academic & General, LinguaSkills & APTIS.
As an experienced Careers & University Guidance Counsellor, I have helped more than 2000 students (undergraduate & postgraduate) study around the world.

I am an experienced, fully qualified teacher of Mathematics (BA, 1st Class Honours & PGCE) & have been teaching in schools for 20 years in London & at Hastings School in Madrid, where I was Head of Mathematics Department for 9 years. I am passionate about mathematics & helping students practise their skills, gain confidence in maths, move to the next level & hone their exam technique.

I teach primary & secondary, IGCSE & Additional Maths, A Level Maths & Further Maths, & IB (AA & AI). I also prepare students for elite university entrance exams in maths: TMUA, STEP, SAT, ACT, Bocconi.

I also offer my experience & expertise as a consultant to schools to help them develop their provision in mathematics.

I'm experienced in dealing with a range of abilities, from those who apply to elite universities to those who simply struggle in maths. I firmly believe that maths is cumulative & with the right combination of learning strategies, scaffolded tasks & patience, my experience proves that every student can make real progress in maths.
